Turkey and Gravy

This year, I was volunteered to provide the turkey on Thanksgiving with my in-laws. I didn't mind it too much except that I will have to transport this turkey to Benicia, and I didn't want the flavor of my turkey to be compromised in anyway. Well it turned out fine and I think the best compliments I got was from people telling me that they don't usually eat turkey but they ate mine that day. More importantly for me, this was the first time I made gravy from scratch. My first roux! I think it turned out really well and using the giblets before and turkey drippings after is totally worth the effort. Hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving as well....
